Profiles of the Glassmakers: Pauly & C. (from 1902) Founding: Emilio Pauly founded Pauly & C. (1902) with support from other investors. The firm's production centered initially on traditional Venetian glassware. Developmental Events: 1919 The firm was acquired, together with Compagnie di Vetri e Mosaici de Venezia e Murano, by a Milan investor. 1920 Both the firm and Compagnie di Vetri e Mosaici de Venezia e Murano were acquired by Gaetano Ceschina. Both firms thereafter sold products from various producers, often under the mark "C. V. M." 1963 Luciano Barbon acquired both the firm and Compagnie di Vetri e Mosaici de Venezia e Murano.
