Ferdinando Ferro and Sisto Nason joined with Luigi and Giovanni Toso in a reorganized entity, Ferro Toso & C. 1916 Because of the hostilities of World War I, the firm removed to Naples, where it operated as Vitrum Società Anonima Industrie Artistiche Riunite Ferro Toso [Vitrum S.A.I.A.R. Ferro Toso]. c. 1918 The firm returned to Murano as Società Anonima Industrie Artistiche Riunite Ferro Toso [S.A.I.AR. Ferro Toso]. 1933 Luigi Toso died. His sons Artemio, Decio and (later) Mario Toso assumed management of the company. 1936 Ercole Barovier joined the firm, which was reorganized as Ferro Toso Barovier Vetreria Artistiche Reunite S. A. Ercole Barovier liquidated his previous firm, Vetreria Artistica Barovier & C. 1939 The firm name was reorganized as Barovier Toso & C. 1942 The firm name was reorganized as Barovier & Toso. 1945 The firm was reorganized as Barovier & Toso Srl. 1947 Ercole Barovier's son Angelo began working with the firm. 1955 The firm was reorganized as Barovier & Toso Snc. 1972 Angelo Barovier succeeded his father Ercole as Artistic Director. 1974 Ercole Barovier died. 1976 The firm was reorganized as Barovier & Toso Srl. Mario Toso served as President and Angelo Barovier as Director. 1990 Angelo Barovier's son Jacopo served as General Director; Mario Toso's son Giovanni served as Production Director.
